We talk about why and how history should be taught in the classroom, how historians validate their findings, and whether or not we need to pay attention to new information in terms of history after we leave the classroom. We even discuss the history of history!

GenX Boss Lady Ilene from Women‘s Quarterly
Tuesday Sep 07, 2021
Tuesday Sep 07, 2021
After a year, I was finally able to pin down this positive, busy, magazine publisher/mentor to young folks for a chat. We had some issues with our recording, but I hope you still give this episode a listen because we cover some losses in her family that inspired her to begin a magazine for women, growing up in rural America with only white friends, mentoring the youth rather than writing them off, and how to be a boss lady in general. I am inspired, and hope you are too after listening to this!
