In this week's episode I geek out with my GenX pal Aaron who was my cowriter and creator of a little indie horror flick we did that won an award back in in the early 2000's. We also geek out on role playing games and life before the internet and YouTube got really big.
Be sure to check out our 12 minute film we did with GenX Voice guest from the episode Finding Identity through Choreography Third Eye (part one), and Third Eye (part two)

This week's GenX guest, Chris, aka Ray Gunn, was once crowned the King of Burlesque. He shares with us what growing up black and gay in an all white town in central Illinois was like and how a dance performance completely changed his life and gave him a direction for artistic creativity.

1988, Lilith Fair, and Ramones Tee Shirts
Tuesday Apr 06, 2021
Tuesday Apr 06, 2021
Cate and Lori from the Untitled GenX Podcast join me to chat about how terrible the year 1988 was, how a person's reaction to Prince's death is a deciding factor on where you sit in the GenX meter, and how Ramones tee shirts have gotten some other generations in trouble for not knowing who they are! We also share an awkward moment when I reveal why I don't like Tori Amos.

Tuesday Mar 30, 2021
In this solo episode I give my thoughts on the Netflix documentary "The Last Blockbuster" and what video stores meant to me in the 90's and '00s. I also ponder how identity is so damn mainstream and dictated by AI.

Sex and the Generations-Live!
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Here's your second dose of a live conversation with my good Boomer pal Vicki from Pod vCon! This time we unpack some taboos around sex and confront some perverts who commented some gross shit during our livestream that we had to block. It's like two women can't sit down and talk about sex in a non sexual way without men thinking we are there to be harassed. We did have some amazing men defend our reactions and supported our chat with respect and grace, though! I think it's a good conversation, and hope you enjoy it too!
Hit me up with your thoughts on our take on sex at GenX Voice.com or @genxvoice on Instagram!
